i was sitting in my easy chair this evening eating a piece of apple pie and was struck by this overwhelming revelation, almost an epiphany.

it doesnt take much analytical posturing when looking in retrospect at what are increasingly difficult positions of religious conviction, to see that the direction taken by the parties involved in governing the publishers and individuals involved that constitute the quasi religious organisation of jehovahs witness are not in sequence with nor do they in principle touch the cornerstones of contemporary thinking and rational logic.. consequently the reaction to the typical agenda of the said ruling party and its effect to the alienated from membership of that group can be said to inflame the righteous indignation of all who have come into opposition to the obfuscating blanket of self-belief represented by the non elected members of that ruling group.. in plane terms , relying on a self contractually envelope of authoritarian leadership results in a malignant tumour the like of which can not be remove by mechanical nor medicinal methods.. if only the language used to harangue the subjects of so called theocratic conflict was not so guarded in dappled wording and opaque analysis, then and only then could the luminosity of integrity and reality shine dazzlingly.

It will always be a matter of dispute, just like all truth, until such time as Jehovah sets things straight. But, it is a fact that there are probably over a dozen proper Hebrew names that are derived from the first two syllabels of the YHWH. Names like JE-HO-ASH, JE-HO-SHUA, JE-HO-RAM, and many others, prove that the Hebrews recognized the divine name had 3 syllabels and that the first two vowels were "e" and "o." Other YHWH derivatives prove that the last syllabel is an "a." The Watchtower published this a few years back, and some poster put it on the board a few months back when I discussed this in more detail. I don't cut and paste stuff out of the Watchtower though, so you will have to look it up yourself. / You Know

You are much mistaken. The Watchtower has said no such thing. You are referring to the preface of the Bible in Living English that the WTS printed for a time. That translation, however, was not produced by the Society, they merely acquired the copyright for a period and distributed that translation. That being the case, the forward from which your quote was taken was written by the author of the translation, Steven Byington. (It's often referred to as the Byington Translation.) He even signed his initials after the forward showing that the opinions expressed were his own. Byington was not associated with the WTS as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. So, the WTS merely faithfully reproduced the author's opinion and not their own.
Also, Byington's comment about the name "Jehovah" being a mistake, has reference merely to the anglicized form of the YHWH. At that time Byington may have been laboring under the erroneous opinion that Yahweh was the more accurate English rendition of YHWH. We now know though that Yahweh is not even close seeing that the YHWH was originally pronounced using 3 syllabels, not two as in Yahweh, and that the vowel sound for that middle syllabel was an "O."
